Project Overview

The clients, passionate about cooking—curing their own meats, making pizza, and baking—wanted a kitchen that allowed them to engage with their guests without constantly bumping into each other. The adjacent rooms were difficult to access, making entertaining a challenge.

To meet their needs, the kitchen was relocated and expanded, exceeding the cook’s expectations. Load-bearing walls were removed to seamlessly join the kitchen with the living spaces, creating a more open and inviting environment.

Cabinetry features Eclipse cabinets in American Popular Engineered Wood, Cadet finish, with Hartford edge slab doors and Blum tandem full-extension drawers. The countertops are MSI Quartz in Arctic White, paired with a clean, modern backsplash. The backsplash includes Daltile Modern Dimensions 4×8 subway tile in Arctic White, semi-gloss ceramic in a 112 running bond pattern, and a 3″ glass hex mosaic accent over the range, giving the space a polished and contemporary look.
