Project Overview

This couple was making many modern updates to their home to better fit their style. The option to open up the loft to the stairwell was presented, while enhancing the look of the railings. As a result, the wall separating the office from the stairwell was removed and cable rails replaced the standard wooden pickets. Other details include an added ceiling fan, clean-line cased openings without traditional trim, and lighting enhancements.

I am very happy with my Sun Design experience. It's so rare to find companies that truly care about keeping you happy through the whole process, not just up until you sign the contract. We had our master suite remodeled and couldn't be happier. Even after the project was done, Sun followed up by sending someone over to check on the quality of everything - they came back to "fix" (?) a couple things that I didn't even notice. Their warranty department continues to keep in touch with me to make sure everything is as it should be. I have to also mention the pre-construction team. The owner Craig and designer Maggie were very fun to work with. They were full of creative ideas. Like most people, we had a budget we wanted to stick to and they were able to point things out to us that would help us save money but not necessarily in an obvious way. Overall, very pleased and we look forward to our next project with Sun Design.
