Residential Addition
Indoor Resistance Pool
Project Overview
The clients wanted to be able to swim and exercise year-round, and with the arrival of Covid19, they didn’t want to have to leave the house to do so. More importantly, they wanted to create a space where their two daughters would want to hang-out with their friends, and feel connected but also have a level of privacy. They have a big yard that felt under-utilized and wished to create an indoor/ outdoor connection for family and entertaining.
An addition was designed that included an indoor pool spa, lounge, and full-bathroom. As well, a raised hot tub deck was installed on the outdoor patio, that connects the new addition to the outdoor living space.
Multiple points of entry where incorporated to maximize accessibility and function for both entertaining and daily use
