MAIN LEVEL REMODEL
CLIFTON, VA
This family in Clifton wanted to relocate their kitchen in their home, opening up the house to their backyard view and their living area.
The results of their remodel included a nouveau French Country kitchen design with an exotic granite island, raised living room flooring to meet the new kitchen, and a gorgeous view of their backyard, letting more natural light into their now transformed open living space.
HERE’S A SNAPSHOT OF THEIR REMODEL:
The kitchen was updated with new eggshell cabinets, polished cambria countertops, Namibia granite (Island), bronze fixtures and a copper farmhouse sink.
The flooring between the kitchen and living room was raised 8″ to make the first floor flush throughout the home.
Relocating the back door, adding sidelights, and new windows brought in an abundance of sunlight.
The corner fireplace was incorporated into the new kitchen by raising it above the counter with a natural stacked stone surround.
The closet under the secondary stairway was transformed from a storage space to a desk nook, creating a well organized mailing station.
