Project Overview

In Vienna, VA, the clients wanted to transform their kitchen into an open, inviting space that seamlessly connected to their dining and family areas while preserving the character of their deck-style home. To achieve this, the wall separating the kitchen from the dining room and elevated family room was removed, creating a bright, flowing layout that highlights the sweeping rear views.

This transformation centered on removing barriers and improving flow, much like our approach to designing an open and connected main level.

The kitchen design embraces the warmth of natural wood tones with Eclipse by WW Wood cherry cabinets in a rich Bourbon finish. Metropolitan Horizontal Grain doors and D1 slab drawer fronts with soft-close hinges and full-extension dovetail drawer boxes enhance both functionality and style. The crisp Arctic White quartz countertops provide a modern contrast while maintaining a timeless, natural aesthetic. The combination of these finishes delivers a harmonious balance between contemporary openness and classic deck-home charm.
