Project Overview

In Oakton, VA, this couple transformed their home with modern updates designed to enhance both style and function. To create a more open and airy feel, the loft was opened to the stairwell, allowing natural light to flow throughout the space. The existing wall separating the office from the stairwell was removed, and sleek cable rails replaced traditional wooden pickets, giving the stairwell a contemporary, visually light aesthetic. Additional refinements include a ceiling fan for comfort, clean-lined cased openings that eliminate traditional trim, and carefully placed lighting to brighten the spaces and highlight architectural details. The result is a cohesive, modern interior that blends functionality with sophisticated design.

I am very happy with my Sun Design experience. It's so rare to find companies that truly care about keeping you happy through the whole process, not just up until you sign the contract. We had our master suite remodeled and couldn't be happier.
