Project Overview

With the inlaws visiting often, for extended periods of time, the clients needed more space. As a result, a 2nd level was added to the home to include a 2nd primary suite. The primary bath features a free-standing soaking tub with a unique 2-sided wall feature that both provides storage and houses the shower controls opposite to the tub, as well as 2 floating vanities. Porcelain tile accents are seen throughout to mimic the look of marble and arbor wood.

We knew we needed a larger space custom-built for our family now that we had decided to settle down in our neighborhood. Sun Design doubled our living space with a design we love. With the expertise of its design team, we were able to integrate modern design elements that enhanced our family traditions, such as cooking together, gathering around the dinner table, or enjoying a family movie night. All aspects of the remodel, from the new second floor, the revised open layout on the main level, and new windows, siding, and roofing made our renovated home feel and look like a brand-new build. The Sun Design team was detail oriented, while always sticking to the broader goal of increasing our living space within a timeframe and budget that worked best for our family. We are beyond pleased with the outcome and look forward to raising our children in our newly remodeled home.
