Project Overview

In Falls Church, VA, this primary suite remodel transforms the home by relocating the primary bedroom and expanding the suite to double its original size. A new primary closet with an integrated laundry space creates a functional transition area connecting the bedroom and bathroom, simplifying daily routines.

The new primary bathroom occupies the space of a former secondary bedroom that previously served as storage, offering serene wooded views. The centerpiece is a freestanding soaking tub that invites relaxation while enjoying the outdoors. Previously measuring 42 square feet, the relocated primary bathroom now spans 153 square feet, providing a sense of luxury and openness.

Cabinetry throughout the suite is Showplace EVO, featuring five-piece headers and all-drawer configurations, finished in Green Tartan. The countertops are Calacatta Laza quartz with eased edges, combining elegance and durability. The bathroom is outfitted with Delta Trinsic faucets and a Delta H2O Kinetic showerhead, complemented by a Delta Vero single-function hand shower in Brilliance Champagne Bronze. Flooring includes Niro Matte 60×120 tiles in both the main bathroom and shower walls, while the shower floor showcases Hampton Carrara Pol small herringbone tiles for a subtle yet sophisticated pattern.
