Project Overview
In Fairfax, VA, the clients sought a primary suite that combined luxury, functionality, and enhanced organization. The focus was on creating more storage, an enlarged shower, and easily accessible toiletries. Our design reconfigured the primary bathroom to maximize space while introducing thoughtfully crafted cabinetry and finishes.
The shower was expanded by utilizing previously unused attic space, resulting in a spacious walk-in shower featuring Kohler’s Flipside 2.5 multifunction shower head in vibrant brushed nickel, complemented by Purestone Bianco wall tiles arranged in a 1/3 running bond pattern and a mosaic glass-and-stone accent stripe. The Architectural Ceramics Driftwood Crystalwood floor tile adds warmth and texture underfoot.
Custom Shiloh maple cabinets in the Silas finish with Aspen doors provide ample storage for his-and-her needs. Granite River White countertops with eased edges, paired with Mirabelle Provincetown 8″ widespread faucets in brushed nickel, create a sleek, modern look. A Kohler Underscore soaking tub offers a serene retreat.
The bedroom features new carpeting and elegant crown molding to harmonize with the updated bath. His-and-her walk-in closets complete the suite, providing a refined and organized living experience.
