Project Overview
This Arlington, VA condominium bathroom was thoughtfully redesigned to maximize functionality and style within a limited space. The homeowners replaced an underused soaking tub with a spacious walk-in shower, creating an open and practical layout. A wall-hung toilet was installed, allowing it to be repositioned so the door no longer interferes when opening—a common challenge in condo bathrooms.
Custom cabinetry by Crystal Wood Works features frameless MDF construction with a Palissandro Foil finish and sleek Como slab doors. Drawers employ dovetail joinery and soft-close full-extension guides for ease of use and long-term durability. MSI Quartz Hazelwood countertops provide a clean, modern surface with a standard eased edge and a subtle 4-inch backsplash.
Delta “Trinsic” single-hole faucets in Brilliance Stainless enhance the vanity sinks, while a slide-bar mount hand shower offers versatile functionality in the walk-in shower. The shower floor features Coastal Keystones Coconut Beach Block mosaic tile, and the walls display a random mix of 4×4 neutral-toned tiles, accented by 4×4 Island Stone Beach glass tiles. Porcelain tile flooring throughout ties the design together, creating a cohesive and refined look.
