Project Overview
The clients have 3 children ranging in age from 5 to 13 years old. Previously a 3-bedroom/2- bath house, they started to feel cramped. With the inlaws visiting often, typically staying for extended periods of time in the summer months, at the end of the day they just needed more space and really liked the idea of an open floor plan.
A 2nd level was added to the home to include a 2nd primary suite, 2 more bedrooms with a shared hall bath, a laundry closet, and loft space.
On the main level, the kitchen has been reconfigured, a small bedroom was removed to create a large dining room that can seat 8, and updates to the hall bath.
On the exterior, you’ll find all new materials to include a board and batten facade, black trimmed windows, doors, and downspouts, along with a new roof.
