Paul Weimerskirch joined Sun Design as a Lead Carpenter in the spring of 2024, bringing 23 years of experience in residential remodeling. Having heard about Sun Design’s impressive designs and quality craftsmanship, he was excited to become part of a team that values excellence and attention to detail.

As a Lead Carpenter, Paul plays a key role in supervising on-site construction, coordinating with trades, and ensuring that each project is completed with precision and care. He thrives on the satisfaction of bringing a client’s and designer’s vision to life, making sure that every detail is executed to the highest standard. His approach is built on quality, timeless craftsmanship, and honesty, which align perfectly with Sun Design’s values.

One of the most memorable projects of Paul’s career was a particularly challenging remodel that required creative problem-solving. The biggest obstacle? Adapting an unconventional structure to meet modern building codes—a task that demanded expertise, precision, and a deep understanding of construction techniques.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time outdoors and taking on new challenges in his craft. His advice to homeowners embarking on a remodeling project?
