Olivia earned her bachelors degree in Interior Design from the Virginia Tech College of Architecture and Urban Studies. As well, she took time to travel to Germany where she studied with the Bauhaus Workshop, and Italy where she studied with the Santa Reparata International School of Art. Since then, she had experience working as an Interior Designer with both Havenly Interior Design and HLW, and is now pursuing her National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification.

When asked why she chose Sun Design, Olivia said, “When I was researching these firms in the DC and Northern VA area, I came across Sun Design and saw a video on their website of all the employees describing the company in 3 words. Everyone had such great things to say, with integrity, growth and family being repeated over and over. That really drew me to Sun Design, and I knew it was the right place for me.”

When she’s not on the job, Olivia loves anything artsy such as painting, digital artwork, and building small furniture items, which she often makes for friends and family. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, snowboarding, playing volleyball and anything that has to do with dogs and plants!
