McKenzie joined the Sun Design family in 2023. She supports the Sales and Marketing departments in everyday tasks and sets up both teams to be successful. She helps coordinate and execute our events to meet Sun Design’s standards and vision and collaborates with the Marketing team to create content and produce professional photography. Additionally, McKenzie assists our Director of First Impressions in her work, by keeping in touch with interested clients, helping our Design Consultants prepare for their meetings, and speaking with potential clients in order to understand how we can best help them achieve their remodeling goals.

McKenzie graduated from James Madison University in 2023 with a B.S. in Industrial Design/Minor in Entrepreneurship. Her past work experience revolves around customer service in varied forms, which has given her the tools to provide an exceptional experience to our clients. She enjoys the opportunities to be creative in Marketing and excels as a client advocate in Sales.

When why she chose to work at Sun Design, fresh out of college, McKenzie said: “I chose to work at Sun Design because of their employee environment! Also, at Sun Design they encourage and support individual growth, both personally and professional, which I think is really unique and important.”

She values kindness, trust, a solid sense of ethics, and fun above all. When she’s off the clock, McKenzie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, discovering new music with a glass of wine, and flipping/designing furniture.
