Kenny Sylvester is a seasoned Mortgage Loan Officer with nearly 30 years of experience helping homeowners, investors, and builders navigate the financing side of real estate. Known as “The Loan Doctor” by many of his clients, Kenny specializes in renovation and construction financing and renovation financing, including FHA 203(k), Conventional, VA, and USDA construction-to-permanent loans, Hard Money and creative lending solutions for complex projects.
Throughout his career, Kenny has worked closely with contractors, real estate agents, and homebuyers to bridge the gap between vision and execution—making sure projects not only get approved, but get completed smoothly. He brings a practical, real-world approach to financing renovation projects, helping clients understand timelines, budgets, and how to structure loans to avoid common pitfalls.

Jennifer Mack | Realtor® + Team Leader
Jennifer Mack is a Northern Virginia native who grew up in a military family. After her husband’s service concluded, they planted roots in Fairfax, Virginia, where they continue to live and serve their community.
Licensed since 2005, Jennifer leads Jennifer Mack Properties, a top-producing team of five agents with eXp Realty, serving clients across a 50+ mile radius of Washington, DC. She is known for her results-driven, proactive approach, balanced by a genuine care for the people she represents—earning her a reputation as both a strong negotiator and a trusted advocate.
Within the local real estate community, Jennifer is highly respected and frequently invited to teach training classes. Angelique Ayala, CFP® | Financial Planner
Angelique Ayala is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with Horizon Advisory Group, specializing in holistic financial planning and investment management. She is passionate about educating her clients so they can make confident, informed decisions as they pursue their financial goals and navigate complex financial situations.
A Northern Virginia native, Angelique was born and raised in North Springfield and now resides in Centreville with her dog, Tigre. She earned her bachelor’s degree from George Mason University, majoring in finance with a minor in economics.
Outside of work, Angelique enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and connecting with friends and family.
Brook Mitchell | Director of Sales
Brook Mitchell joined Sun Design Remodeling in November 2024, bringing 20+ years of experience in remodeling, design, and construction project management. A former owner of a design-build firm, she specializes in large-scale custom projects and leads with a consultative approach—ensuring each client’s home reflects their lifestyle, needs, and vision.
At Sun Design, Brook leads the sales team with a focus on strong relationships, clear communication, and delivering an exceptional client experience aligned with the company’s core values. She also serves as the 2025 Builder Forum Vice Chair for the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, helping strengthen collaboration between builders and realtors.
Brook holds a Construction Project Management Certificate from Columbia University and is a licensed Realtor in Virginia and DC. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, and spending time with her animals and family.
Ken Middleton | Design Consultant
Ken Middleton joined Sun Design Remodeling in 2025, bringing over 24 years of residential remodeling experience. A longtime Loudoun County resident, Ken combines deep local insight with a strong background in business ownership—having led both sales and production teams throughout his career.
Ken takes a consultative, client-first approach, helping homeowners reimagine their spaces in ways that elevate everyday living. Known for his calm professionalism and clear communication, he guides clients through a seamless, collaborative remodeling process from concept to completion.
Outside of work, Ken enjoys spending time with family and friends—especially cracking crabs during the summer and making the most of life at home in Loudoun County.
