Kyle Kuhn joined Sun Design Remodeling in 2025 as a Senior Architectural Designer, bringing a California architect’s expertise and a passion for creating spaces that truly fit the people who live in them. “I believe a home should not only be beautiful but also feel right for how you live,” Kyle says. From documenting as-built conditions to schematic design, code analysis, and construction documents, he ensures every detail supports the client’s vision.

Kyle plays a key role in supporting the design team at every stage of a project. He works closely with Lead Designers to translate client ideas into accurate plans, prepare as-built and permit-ready drawings, and coordinate with engineers, carpenters, and trades to ensure the project flows smoothly. “The Kickoff [meeting] is my favorite part of the process—it’s when I really hear what a client wants and start imagining the possibilities for their home,” he says. By combining thoughtful, holistic design with practical execution, Kyle helps bring each client’s vision to life.

Outside of work, Kyle enjoys playing tennis, going for drives, and exploring creative outlets. A former rock band member and skateboarder, he brings the same energy, curiosity, and creativity to every project. “Design should be inspiring, functional, and personal—it’s about shaping a space that truly feels like home.”
