Kevin began his career with Sun Design as a Sales Associate, assisting our Design Consultants and Designers with pricing, creating job estimates, and budget tracking. His experience as a Sales Associate enables him to offer alternative solutions, depending on each client’s unique vision, within a set budget. Further, Kevin helps our clients clarify and define their scope of work, determine the timeframe and budget for their project, and collaborate on creative design solutions based on what is feasible in their home. This is done by asking questions that most homeowners have never considered and working with clients to truly understand what their remodeling goals are.
Prior to working with Sun Design, Kevin acquired a wide array of experience in hospitality for many years where he learned various facets of management and client relations on a day-to-day basis. He also has a finance background, having graduated George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and working in the financial department of a government contract with the Department of Defense.
When asked why he chose to work at Sun Design, Kevin answered, “Sun Design stood out to me as a company that has done what no other company (in my experience) has been able to do: Prioritize your employees AND your customers. I chose Sun Design because I finally found that balance which I have been missing out on in all my previous jobs…I trust that Sun Design will take care of me, which they have already proven time and time again, and feel completely confident in the services we provide our clients because they have proven that our clients are actually part of our team. Kevin’s favorite pastime is bartending with his wife, for private events and parties. He enjoys the opportunity to use his skills from the years of experience in hospitality to provide others with an exceptional experience. He is also an avid hiker and a beach fanatic to no end!
