Kacey earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Delaware and has worked for almost a decade in the residential remodeling industry. She also achieved her Structural Welding Certification through the American Welding Society (AWS) and worked as a licensed and insured independent contractor for 3 years. She has professional experience working in the DMV with groups like Capital Design LLC and BOWA Builders.

When asked why she chose to settle down at Sun Design, Kacey said, “Back when I worked as an independent contractor and structural welder, I met and discussed work opportunities with Sun Design, and they were friendly and welcoming. On top of that, I had some family friends that had a wonderful experience working with Sun Design back before I even met them. So, when the opportunity arose for me to accept the exact position I’d been looking for, at a company I already felt a connection with, I was super excited to join the team!”

Outside of work, Kacey enjoys spending time with her husband, her dad, her cat, and her puppy! She also loves reading, pottery, metalwork, and camping.
