Project Manager
JR started at Sun Design in 2010 as a Lead Carpenter and since has been promoted to Project Manager. During the construction phase of your project, he will interact and communicate with you regularly to keep you aware and appraised of all activity and progress happening in your home. He does this by coordinating crucial milestones prior to the start of construction and handling all projects details from start to final completion. JR makes sure that he understands your project’s scope of work by reading and interpreting all plans and subsequent specifications. As well, he will assign, supervise, and inspect all carpentry work, and develop methods to expedite performance where possible. JR believes it is vitally important to maintain trust and reliability with every client throughout our process.
When asked why he chose to work at Sun Design, JR said, “You find out pretty quickly at Sun Design that you’re not just working in construction or designing spaces, you’re actually changing people’s lives for the better, and that’s incredibly motivating and hard to find.”
When he’s not on the job, JR loves spending time outdoors with his family, playing sports, or being on the water!
