Faith Bartell joined Sun Design as an Interior Designer in January 2024, drawn to the company’s commitment to personal growth, work-life balance, and the importance placed on family relationships. For Faith, design is more than aesthetics—it’s about creating spaces that enhance the way families connect and live together. 

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Liberty University and is planning to pursue the Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD) certification in the fall. Before joining Sun Design, Faith gained hands-on experience as a Junior Interior Designer at a luxury residential design firm in Northern Virginia, where she worked closely with the owner and creative director to bring each client’s unique style to life. 

At Sun Design, Faith collaborates with Architectural and Lead Designers to craft functional and inspiring spaces for homeowners. Her role includes selecting finishes, preparing design presentations, and facilitating client meetings. She particularly values Sun Design’s transparent design process, which allows clients to refine their vision before signing a contract, ensuring that every detail—both aesthetic and financial—is clearly understood. 

Faith thrives on the challenge of reimagining existing spaces, embracing the creative process alongside her talented team. Her passion extends beyond work—she loves exploring charming Virginia towns like Lexington and Middleburg, discovering new cafes, baking sweets, browsing bookstores, playing tennis with friends and family, and even indulging in a little retail therapy. 

Her design philosophy is simple: thoughtful planning leads to spaces that truly enhance everyday life. She is excited to continue helping clients create homes that reflect their personality and lifestyle, making every project a meaningful and enjoyable journey.
