Emily joined the Sun Design team in 2021, as a Design Assistant. As such, she offers our Lead and Architectural Designers support on their projects and helps to facilitate an exceptional client experience. Emily maintains our design studio and ensures that project selection materials are available for client meetings. She creates presentations for our design reviews and helps to create CAD renderings that allow our clients to have an accurate visual of their remodeled spaces. She is essential to the design process and will ensure the necessary due diligence is complete and accurate.

Emily comes from a background in Biology and Customer Service. She majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry at Georgia Southern University. Since then, her attention to detail and organizational skills have led her to a variety of career opportunities, but Emily soon realized that her true passion is in the arts. She chose to change her career path to pursue design so that she could fulfill her creative talent.

When asked why she chose Sun Design, Emily said, “I was drawn to Sun Design because of their commitment to personal growth and excellence. Their dedication to fostering client relationships and being able to learn from like-minded, award-winning designers, was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up!”

Emily enjoys traveling, painting, embroidery and watching all types of documentaries with her cat and fiancé!
