Residential Interior
Kids Drop Zone
Project Overview
Over the years, and as the children were growing, the clients realized that parts of their home needed to grow too. The mudroom was a toddler’s play area, for lounging and gaming. As they were growing and many of these items were no longer necessary, they found that there were many other items that they were inundated with such as shoes, jackets, backpacks and more. As a transition space between the garage and kitchen, it just made sense to create built-ins to hold these items, while keeping a smaller storage section for general school needs and family board games.
